Since Crimson Desert's gameplay trailer reveal last year, the response we received from the community has been a huge source of encouragement for our team.
The delay message cites a desire to add new ideas to enrich the game, and can be seen below. While Crimson Desert was originally billed as an 'open-world MMORPG set in an epic-fantasy world', it has more recently been labeled by Pearl Abyss as a 'massive open-world action-adventure game, with content designed for both solo play and multiplayer.' This was soon followed up with a Trailer Commentary Video and Game Overview Video, but not much has been shared since. Pearl Abyss has finally lifted the wraps off a brand new gameplay trailer for Crimson Desert at GameCom Opening Night Live, and it’s a right showstopper, featuring plenty of footage on the game.
